Powder flask, German, 17th/18th century, trapezoidal body made of concave curved horn plates riveted together with horn and metal nails. Leg shaft and stopper, openwork stopper, almost heart-shaped. The obverse is characterised by fine engraving, which includes trophy bundles from various weapons, as well as flags and figurative representations. Total length: approx. 16 cm. Signs of age and rubbing, chipping in places. PROVENANCE: South German private collection.
