About the product
Curved body made of moulded horn, with fine ornamental, vegetal and figural engravings and a coat of arms with a double-headed eagle. Bone stopper and base, dated and inscribed with a nomen sacrum: ‘1760’ / ‘IHS’. Base riveted with metal nails. Total length: approx. 13.5 cm. Signs of age and rubbing, minimal chipping to the base, nails partially broken off. PROVENANCE: South German private collection.
