NEUENBURG PENDULE ON WALL CONSOLE, 2nd half 18th century, two-part Neuchâtel wooden case with dark green background and floral painting, lavishly decorated with embossed sheet brass applications of flower garlands, patriotic oak leaves and allegorical depictions, movement with striking on the quarter hour on two overhead bells, standing on a suitably decorated wall console. HxWxD clock: 77/40/14 cm. Signs of age and wear, functional in short test, movement partially replaced, undeciphered embossed mark in the wood: ‘L34(Kreuzzeichen)’.
