ROYAL COPENHAGEN 'Fauna Danica' fish service, 1950s-1970s, consisting of 6 soup plates, on the back the Latin names of the fish depicted: 'Cyprinus carpio', 'Caranx trachurus', 'Leuciscus idu var. orfus', 'Cyprinus carassius', 'Clupea harengus' and 'Belone vulgaris', Brands each from 1968, D 25.5 cm, saucière with a fixed lower bowl without Latin inscription, brand from 1969-74, L 23 cm and a large oval plate, painted with an imperial lobster 'Nephrops norvegicus', brand from 1956, L 61cm. Nice condition with minimal signs of age, 1st choice.
