KARLSRUHE MAJOLICA 'Grape Girl', 1st half of the 20th century, Designed by August Schädler, rectangular shape with two bowls, the rim with a typical blue/yellow relief of blossoms and leaves, and in the center a girl sitting with a large bunch of grapes. Model number 1006, probably made between 1908 and 1923. Signs of age, one bowl with a hairline crack, base ring damaged. L 39 cm.
From the estate of Richard and Elisabeth Märklin, owners of Richard Märklin Toys, USA, son and daughter-in-law of Eugen Märklin (co-founder of Gebr. Märklin from Göppingen).
