HERMÈS maxi twilly 'CAVALCADOUR'. By Henri d'Origny, design first published in 1982. 100% silk in multicolour. Artfully intertwined reins, decorated with lily buckles and the French crown, inspired by the bridles of the horses belonging to the Count of Chambord, the last descendant of the elder Bourbon line. The designs are from the Émile Hermès collection; the spurs and bits were guided by the spirit of the groom – the Cavalcadour. Box included. Good condition. 20x220cm.
