GERMANY Souvenir case “Schiller Monument in Stuttgart”, circa 1839. Cloth and metal case, one side depicts the Schiller Monument and the Collegiate Church with figures in Stuttgart, based on a lithograph published by the Württemberg painter and publisher Jakob Heinrich Renz; the other side depicts an oriental-looking lady with a pearl necklace and a green parrot, approx. 14x7x1 cm. Scuffed, heavy signs of age and use.
