Eppli strengthens its team of wine and spirits experts with top international sommelier Frank Kämmer

Since September 2023, Eppli has been working with the experienced master sommelier Frank Kämmer. The internationally experienced wine expert will support the Eppli team in the evaluation of top-class wines and spirits. Frank Kämmer's expertise will be used for the first time at the wine and spirits auction on December 15, 2023 in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.

Exceptional quality, special terroir, renowned winery, centuries of tradition - Eppli offers selected rarities at its wine and spirits auctions. Proven experts in the team of Germany's largest auction house examine and evaluate the fine wines that are ultimately auctioned off. The team has been supported by Frank Kämmer since September. He is one of the most renowned wine experts in Germany and enjoys a high reputation in the international wine world.

Kämmer has many years of experience in top gastronomy, during which he was regarded as the leading European sommelier. He has received several awards, including Best Sommelier in Germany and Second Best Sommelier in Europe. The trained restaurant specialist learned his profession from the bottom up and continued to train as a sommelier. In 1996, Frank Kämmer succeeded in obtaining the highest international qualification in the profession, the "Master Sommelier".

Kämmer now works full-time as a consultant in the wine and gastronomy industry. His clients include renowned international wineries, importers, distributors and trading companies. The wine lover has also published numerous books on the subject of wine and spirits, is the author of various specialist publications and was the first German to be accepted into the British Circle of Wine Writers.
