Presseinfromation Eppli Haus

The new Eppli Haus opens its doors: Stuttgart's premier address for pre-owned luxury goods

The construction fence has disappeared, the move is complete, every detail has been polished to perfection: after almost ten months of renovation, the new Eppli Haus is now in all its glory. At Sporerstraße 6 and 8—the former Spielwaren Kurtz/Reiterle toy store—the renowned auction and trading house for pre-owned luxury goods has found its new home. This morning, managing director Ferdinand B. Eppli cut the ribbon—the symbolic beginning of a new chapter in the history of the traditional family business.

With the move and the consolidation of all business areas under one roof, Eppli has fulfilled a long-held entrepreneurial vision: “The entire team has been working toward this day for months, which makes it all the more gratifying that we can now open. We are delighted to finally be able to share this special building with our customers,” says Ferdinand Eppli.

A range that sets standards

The result is a place full of inspiration that offers extraordinary shopping experiences. In addition to the jewelry store and an exclusive area for watches from renowned brands and high-end jewelry, visitors can expect a spacious sales area for pre-owned designer fashion, luxury handbags, and high-quality accessories. The range is complemented by fine wines, collectibles, selected works of art, antiques, and much more. This is a range that is unique in the region – and probably in the whole of Germany. Anyone who wants to have their own treasures valued, sold, or auctioned will receive the best advice in the in-house expert offices. A watchmaker's and goldsmith's workshop for individual jewelry creations, which are offered in the jewelry store, rounds off the portfolio.

A place where dreams come true

Another highlight is the modern auction hall with an integrated bar and a direct view of the market square. Starting in September, all in-person auctions will take place there. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, all auctions will be broadcast live on the internet via several cameras from the control room. This allows interested parties from all over the world to watch and bid in real time using live bid technology: “With the new location—opposite the market hall—and the consolidation of our offerings under one roof, we hope to welcome many new faces to Eppli, whether it's on Saturdays at our auctions or while browsing through the various departments. Anyone looking for something special is sure to find it here,” says Ferdinand Eppli.

Where once children's hearts beat faster with joy, today at Eppli it is small and even very big dreams that can come true.

The Eppli House, with its open sale, auction preview, and jewelry store, is now open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The in-house expert center—the point of contact for appraisals, purchases, and auction consignments—welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Only the Safe Lounge and a small administrative area remain at the previous location at Marktplatz 6.
