On July 22, 2022, Mercedes-Benz Group AG in cooperation with the Stuttgart auction house Eppli will hold a charity auction: the proceeds will support the valuable work of the Plaudertelefon of the Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart.
More than 200 pieces from the field of art and small antiques will go under the hammer. They not only make the hearts of collectors beat faster, but also inspire lovers of beautiful and unique things. They will be auctioned off by the renowned auction house Eppli and the entire proceeds will be donated by Mercedes-Benz Group AG for a good cause.
In addition, the auction house Eppli also actively supports this charity auction and will contribute a large part of the auction fees of the donation to the Plaudertelefon Stuttgart.
The work of the Plaudertelefon with almost 130 volunteers makes a valuable contribution to people who feel lonely. This commitment has become particularly important in the past two years due to the Corona pandemic. Many people have lost their social contacts due to isolation from public life and feel excluded from society. A nice chat on the phone with the volunteers in the neighborhood should not only alleviate this loneliness, but in the best case overcome it and give the callers motivation to participate actively in public life again.
