France, early 20th century, Oak construction, veneered in light brown mahogany, round top with bevelled edges over a veneered frame, from which the downward tapering square legs protrude slightly, the frame and front of the legs decorated with fine thread and ribbon inlays, the frame inlaid with light-coloured bands forming fields, the veneer in a herringbone pattern, the drawer incorporated into the frame with a small brass pull ring in the shape of a leaf wreath, the veneer of the top laid radially, fine, profiled sabots at the tips of the feet, hxd: 74/50 cm.
