Third Reich - Volksgasmaske VM40, in original box. Green rubber gas mask. The imperial eagle stamped on the outside of the mask. Aluminium filter with screw cap, here stamped: '033 / der Reichsadler / 872' and stamped: 'RL1 // 38/4' and '5 // 125'. Stamped on the box: 'VM // F // RL 1-39/86 // Vertrieb gemäß § 8 // Luftschutzgesetz genehmigt'. Box dimensions (HxWxD): approx. 7 x 29.5 x 20.5 cm. With signs of age and use.
