Thangka . TIBET, 19th/20th c., depicting the wrathful black god Yamanthaka and his pale blue consort Vajravetali. The couple is enclosed by a powerful pale yellow-orange ring of flames. Beneath their feet are two figures. Tempera and little gold on cotton fabric. Framed behind glass. HxW: approx. 64x48,5 cm (75,5x64 cm with frame).
