Pair of Satsuma vases. JAPAN, Meiji period (1868-1912)
Bulbous form with a cylindrical, tall and thin neck and a pair of handles on the sides. The cream-coloured, crackled body finely painted all around with figurative scenes and ornamental motifs and finely decorated with gold, mark on the underside, h: approx. 12 cm, signs of age and wear, slightly dam.
