Oriental carpet. KESHAN/PERSIA, 1930-1935, approx. 355x248 cm. The field shows a large prayer niche (mirab) dominated by a vase surrounded by a variety of flower bouquets, palmettes, and shrubs. The two upper corners show a starry sky, while the lower corners are covered with flowers. Multicolored collector's item in good condition with bright colors. 360,000 knots per square meter. All information is based on the 1980 appraisal by Simon Greisel, a publicly appointed and sworn expert for Oriental carpets by the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
