GRANDFATHER CLOCK OF THE LATE ROCOCO
Late 18th century, slender construction in the shape of a rectangular pillar, the clock case a rectangular box with a round-arched end, the front and sides decorated with diced band inlays forming coffers with rocaille-like band interlacing in lighter inlays, the pendulum box with lateral lunette-shaped cheeks for the swing of the pendulum in the narrow box, h: approx. 210 cm. Signs of age, pendulum and weights missing.
