Description
Golden hunter case pocket watch with quarter-hour repeater mechanism from 1896. 14K rose gold including dust cover, engraved with reference to the gold medal award at the World's Fair in Atlanta, USA, in 1895. Mechanical movement with crown winding and quarter-hour repeater (operated via push button at 7 o'clock), bimetallic compensation balance and fine adjustment. Good working order (+13 s/d, 302° amplitude). Two-piece white enamel dial with large Arabic numerals, small seconds and Louis XV hands. Used condition, well preserved, signs of wear visible on the outer case covers, lug with ribbing. Presentation box enclosed. Diameter approx. 59 mm measured without crown.
