CHINA “Ornamental cabinet” Late 19th century.
Solid wood, reddish-brown glazed, tall rectangular, two-door frame construction with copper fittings, open compartment with a decorated frame, fronts with detailed relief carvings depicting floral or stylized motifs, HxWxD: 47/30/23 cm. Signs of age and wear.
Private collection from Hesse, according to verbal statements, acquired locally during the Boxer Rebellion (1900–1901).
