Expressive, dynamically composed composition in Kübler's characteristically angular style. The scene shows schematically depicted farmers at work with a team of horses in front of an abstracted wooden architectural or mountainous structure. The work is distinguished by a rhythmic, almost sketch-like application of color in a cool palette of blues, grays, and whites, accentuated by warm ochre and earth tones.
