Watercolor and gouache on paper. Monogrammed 'K' at the bottom right. Framed under glass: 52/62 cm. Characteristic Stuttgart city view from a bird's-eye perspective. Kübler captures the topographical basin location in a loosely executed composition of earthy ochre and cool blue tones. In the foreground, the garden architecture typical of the artist with spherical trees opens the view to the faintly suggested silhouette of the city center (including the Tagblatt Tower). An atmospheric work that combines Kübler's late impressionist approach with influences of the New Objectivity. Good condition for its age, colors well preserved.
