Rectangular softwood body with two rectangular doors hinged at the front, interior with 4 drawers, elaborate lacquer decoration in raised gold lacquer on a black background, HxWxD: 34/37/21 cm. Signs of age, stress cracks, the original door hinges are missing.
Private collection from Hesse, according to verbal statements, acquired locally during the Boxer Rebellion (1900–1901).
