13-volume set of “Oeuvres de Buffon” – mid-18th to early 19th century, volumes 1–4, 6–12 (Volume 5 missing) of the “Oevres Complètes de Buffon”, Paris 1817/1818, a continuation and supplement by Bernard Germain de Lacepède to Buffon’s works, in French, each with hand-coloured copperplate engravings. Restored, pages partly stained, with tears and creases, showing signs of age and wear. In addition, two small-format volumes of “Histoire Naturelle, Générale et Particulière de Buffon”, Volumes 4 and 5, Paris 1769, in French. Restored, stained, showing signs of age and wear.
