Gottlieb Rabener’s Satires, Parts 1, 2 and 3 (satirical letters), mid-18th century, dated 1755 in Leipzig, published by Johann Gottfried Dyck, edited by Jakob Christoph Posch. The volume contains the ‘Letter to the Bookbinder’, Parts I and II, as well as Part III, ‘Satirical Letters’. The copperplate engravings originally intended for this volume are missing. Leather binding, restored, damaged, stains, with signs of age and wear. Included: Small-format ‘Neuste Damenbibliothek: eine Sammlung von kleinen Romanen, Novellen, Mährchen, Erzählungen etc.’ by Anton Strauß, Vienna 1824, with stamp of the Budapest Library, binding damaged, pages partly torn out, stains and creases.
