Oil on hardboard. 68/53 cm. Monogrammed in light blue at the lower right and dated DF 64. On the reverse, frame label of the art dealer W. Brenner, Stuttgart. In the original artist's frame. 73/57 cm. Dynamic, impasto composition of post-war modernism. The work combines symbolic, deep blue figure steles with free, circular shapes and impulsive incisions in the paint layer. A significant testimony of South German abstraction of the 1960s.
