SITZENDORF impressive group of figures 'Flute Lesson', 20th century, Polychrome decoration depicts a young couple seated in a garden arbor, surrounded by opulent rocaille tendrils. At the lady's feet are a basket of flowers and a reclining goat. The gentleman's arms clasp her shoulders, demonstrating how to play the flute. The underside bears the maker's mark 'S with crown'. The figure has many playful details. Some minor damages and wear is present. Height: 34 cm
