Pots on a 4-legged volute stand, with hinged lid and handles decorated with plant motifs, the handles are decorated with an acanthus leaf, monogrammed, interior gilded, hallmarked on the underside with the city mark, master marks of the royal purveyors Charles Nicholls and William Plincke (1829-1898), undissolved inspection mark and year, weight approx. 2238 g. Gilding on the lid of the teapot rubbed, teapot slightly dented, handle of the coffee pot with small repair and slightly loose, signs of age and use.
