She points to Zeus, who is asleep, indicating that the time is very favourable for success and that Eros should perform his duty immediately. Image 2: Zeus, father of the gods. Image 3: Danae sends Eros into the air with his bow and arrow, Image 4: The little god of love is delighted that he has successfully fulfilled his mission. Zeus had transformed himself into a heavy rain cloud, Danae rides through the air on this cloud, whereupon Zeus came to her in the form of golden rain, and Danae became the mother of Perseus, HxW: 24/33 cm.
