Circular, deeply curved form with a slightly flared and molded rim. The center is decorated with a finely chased and repoussé scene of playful putti in an idealized landscape, framed by a Rococo-style cartouche. The border is richly adorned with elaborate relief decoration composed of floral festoons, foliage, and ornamental reserves set against a finely punched ground. The high-quality execution in the Neo-Baroque style reflects the craftsmanship of German silversmith workshops around 1900, which reinterpreted classical 18th-century motifs for bourgeois interiors.
