FOEHR, Stuttgart, Fish cutlery for 10 persons, 800 silver, end of the 19th century. 10 fish forks and 10 fish knives and 2 serving pieces, handles with rocaille and shell decoration, with fine engravings of reeds and fish, monogrammed 'GH', made by Carl Heisler (Mannheim court silversmith) in conjunction with the Belgian silversmith Wolfers, whose hallmark with a Mercury head can be found on the serving pieces, the forks and knives have in addition the hallmark of the Stuttgart court purveyor Foehr, total weight approx. 1712 g. Gilding rubbed, signs of age and use.
