Ber Walter, born in Mainz in 1968, began his training as a ceramist in 1990. He then completed his art studies at the Institute for Artistic Ceramics in Höhr-Grenzhausen in 1999. Walter has been working as a freelance artist in Frankfurt since 2000, with numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad. The Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt, which now has one of his works in its collection, showed his vessel bodies for the first time in 2003 at the 9th Triennial for Form and Content “Corporal Identity - Body Language”. The show then went to the Museum of Arts & Design, New York. In 2010, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate acquired a work for the state art collection as part of the kunstdirekt art fair in Mainz, where Walter showed his works in 2010 and 2012.
