STEINER, JACOB (20th century artist), 3 abstract compositions, 1.) ‘Le Skieur’, red ink/paper, signed lower left, inscribed on the back of the frame, dated 1973 and dedicated 1980, work no. 833, HxW: approx. 21x14.5 cm; 2.) ‘Im Wirbel’, mixed media/paper, signed lower left, inscribed and dated 1985 on the reverse of the sheet and the reverse of the frame, work no. 1230, HxW: approx. 40x30 cm; 3.) ‘Untitled’, red and black ink/paper, signed lower right signed, on the reverse of the sheet work no. 790, HxW: approx. 29.5x21 cm. Each with signs of age, slightly browned, the sheet ‘Im Wirbel’ partially adhering to the frame glass. Each with clip frame (edges damaged, external dimensions up to 40x30 cm). PROVENANCE: According to verbal information, there was contact with the artist in connection with the Literary Society, Karlsruhe (Beatrice Steiner was managing director from 1977), Jacob Steiner was, among other things, a professor in Karlsruhe.
