GLAUER, ERICH (1903-1995) 'Abstract Relief Stele'
Bronze, dark patinated, partly highlighted with gold. Height approx. 64 cm. Signed on the plinth on the side 'E. Glauer.' On the underside with the original studio label of the artist: 'ERICH GLAUER SCULPTOR, 7 STUTTGART 1, Ameisenbergstrasse 61.' Additionally numbered '25.' The present bronze sculpture by Erich Glauer is a characteristic example of his late modern work, in which tectonics and organic dissolution meet. The stele-like form is divided into two asymmetrical wings connected by a central vertical axis. Very beautiful original condition with authentic patina.
