Third Reich - Manufaktur MEISSEN/Böttger Steinzeug - Two advertising gifts around 1935. 1) Letter rack or card holder: under the arched stand marked with sword mark, inscribed 'St. P. M. Meissen', 'Böttger Steinzeug', 'Bemberg - Werbe - Abteilung - Berlin W 35' and numbered: 'Q293' and '102'. Profiled, curved and slightly arched stand, godroned wall with curved rim, the sides decorated in relief with the sword mark and the imperial eagle over lightning bolts and monogram. Dimensions HxWxD: 11x6,8x15,8 cm. 2) Small square lidded box with side narrow handles/handles slightly curved downwards. Inscribed on the bottom the same as on the letter rack, the following numbering: 'Q221' and '97'. The imperial eagle above flashes and monogram acts as a handle centrally placed on the lid. A small chip of material on one narrow side of the box. Measures H(incl. handle)xW(incl. handle)xD: 8x14x9 cm. Each minimal signs of age and use.
