Oriental carpet. TABRIZ/PERSIA, ca. 1970, 390x300 cm. A central star medallion with pendants and corresponding corner fillings adorns the light brown ground, which is decorated with an ascending arrangement of paradise garden motifs, such as blossoming trees and a variety of different animals. The main border is patterned with brown and steel-blue cartouches decorated with flowering plants and pairs of animals. With the signature of the manufacturer 'Behbodi' (Farsi). Normal signs of wear, one half with somewhat faded colors. Acquired in 1975 for the equivalent of €17,500 in Schwäbisch Hall at 'Teppich Klein'. NO SHIPPING TO THE USA
