White porcelain, depicting 2 peacock hens on a branch, design by Theodor Kärner, model no. 172, impressed marks, l. approx. 40.5 cm, h. approx. 34.5. the tip of the crouching hen's beak is chipped, there is a firing crack next to her right claw; irregularities and repairs caused by the manufacturing process are visible on the underside, signs of age.
