JEAN LOUIS SCHLINGLOFF/ HANAU Pair of partly gilt silver figures, 2 pieces, 13 lot, century, 1905-1910, exquisite silversmithing and engraving, depicting a lady with a falcon and a knight in armour holding a banner, the lady's hands made of carved ivory, head of synthetic material, detailed, fine elaboration of the figures resp. the robe and armour, both mounted on a square base, the corners decorated with a full relief depiction of St. George, the patron saint of knights and soldiers, in battle with the dragon, and an enamel coat of arms to the front, h: lady approx. 44 cm; knight approx. 60 cm, marked accordingly, total weight: approx. 5856 g (excluding head).
