Outstanding 'Birds' brooch with colourful enamel, 2 rubies, and 35 singel-cut diamonds, totalling approx. 0.35 ct, RW-WHITE (G-H)/VS-SI, pavé-set, 18K yellow gold/white gold, 14 g, L: approx. 41.1 mm, W: approx. 35.5 mm, mid-20th century, minor signs of wear, lively depiction of two birds on a branch, fine transparent and opaque enamel work on a textured ground, enamel slightly chipped, expressive depiction in a masterly execution with hand engraving and numbering, probable '796A'.
