Oil on canvas, copy after van Dyck's composition, of which several versions have survived. The best known is in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, other versions are in the Dulwich Picture Gallery, London and in the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. A version enriched with the figure of St John the Baptist is kept in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich, hxw: 140/112 cm. Rest. and doubl. Frame, hxw: 160/132 cm.
