Victorian brooch with fine shell cameo, allegorical depiction of 'Cupid and Psyche' after an antique model, 14K yellow gold, 47.9 g, LxW: approx. 6.8x5.6 cm, eyelet secondary D: approx. 0.5 cm, around 1850-1870, very good condition commensurate with age, reverse with real hair inlay as a personal memento and keepsake piece, with antique case.
