OMEGA Vintage Speedmaster Mark III Men's Chronograph, ref. 176.0002. From 1977. Stainless steel. Automatic movement cal. 1040 (based on Lemania 1340), movement number 36271863, good accuracy (+7s/day, 266° amplitude). Dark blue sunburst dial, date display, 12-hour chronograph, 24-hour display, and small seconds, tritium hands. Link bracelet with stainless steel safety folding clasp from a Roamer Rockshell. Visible signs of wear on the case and bracelet, dial restored, tachymeter ring discolored to violet, glass with scratches, 1 retaining tab on the clasp cover broken off. Omega warranty booklet (without serial number) enclosed; purchased in December 1977 from Richard Kauper in Stuttgart. Diameter approx. 41mm measured without crown, fits a wrist circumference of approx. 20.5 cm.
