A characteristic work of Naïve painting, distinguished by its strictly symmetrical composition and poetic richness of detail. At the center stands a flower seller beneath a bright red parasol, set within an idealized park scene. Particularly noteworthy is the ornamental stylization of the foliage, rendered in a dense, repetitive rhythm that gives the work an almost textile-like texture.
