Automatic movement, Cal. 956, with good performance (+4 s/day at 250° amplitude). Limited Edition No. 639 of 768 pieces. This is a reissue of the legendary 1968 diver’s watch. Black dial with Arabic numerals, date display, and alarm. The crown at 2 o’clock is used to set the alarm and the date. The crown at 4 o’clock is used to set the time and wind the watch, and the crown at 3 o’clock is used to adjust the bezel. New leather strap with the original JLC folding clasp. The original Tropical strap is included. This watch has two case backs. In good condition with signs of wear on the case, spare crystal, and clasp. Original box, instruction manual, crystal, folder, registration card, original purchase receipt, certificate of authenticity, Wempe warranty card, and JLC warranty certificate included. Purchased in January 2011 from Wempe jewelers in Stuttgart. Diameter approx. 42 mm (measured without the crown). Fits a wrist size of up to approx. 19.5 cm.
