Anonymous Lépine Spindle Pocket Watch with Guilloché and Pearls from ca. 1800
Case in 18K yellow gold. Front and back adorned all around with two rows of half-pearls each. Dial cover with domed glass mounted on spring hinges. Back cover with fine guilloché in a wave pattern. Case sides fluted all around. Unsigned movement with spindle escapement and reliable timekeeping. Gold dial with guilloché center, classicistic ornamentation, and Arabic numerals. Minute track and hour markers backed with enamel. Blued Breguet hands. Very good condition—one pearl replaced on the back. Glass shows signs of wear. Minute hand restored. Modern winding key included. Diameter approx. 35 mm, measured without lug.
