About the product
ATTRIBUTED TO CHRISTIAN JORHAN THE ELDER (1727-1804), Winged cherub,
2nd half of the 18th century, limewood, moving pose with slightly raised leg, one hand turned backwards, the other grasping the loosely folded loincloth. H: 35 cm. large parts of the original version preserved.
The attribution is based on an enclosed expertise by the art historian and author of the book 'Barock - Plastik in den Alpenländern' Heinrich Decker
