Painting of the Yamantaka. NEPAL, 1990s. The blue god of death has nine heads, the top head is Manjushri. In his 34 arms he holds shamanic ritual implements. In the two central hands he dismembers demons in a skull bowl, while he stands with his many feet on gods, demons and animals, mineral colors, gold and silver colors on paper, 107,5x79,5 cm (114x86,5 cm with frame). Acquired in Kathmandu in the 1990s.
