Oriental carpet. ROMANIBAFF/ROMANIA, mid 20th century, approx. 288x191 cm. The medallion carpet with a red-brown centre is patterned with spiral scrollwork and interspersed animals and hunting riders. The dark blue main border shows a floral wave pattern with palmettes and turtle motifs. Signs of age and wear, dam. Acquired in 1979 in Bad Urach.
