Oriental carpet. TABRIZ, fine/IRAN, 20th century, 395x299 cm. The field shows an unusual mosque design with a central rosette and differently patterned fields. The mint green main border is patterned throughout with florally decorated cartouches. Signs of age and wear, the colours in the lower third of the carpet are faded. Acquired in 1981 in Ingolstadt in Bavaria for the equivalent of around € 25,000. NO SHIPPING TO THE USA
