MEISSEN MARCOLINI figure with night cap, RARE! 1774-1814, Male figure standing on a rocaillated landscape base, dressed in a nightgown, knickerbockers, stockings, shoes and a nightcap. The figure has polychrome decoration: the shirt has a yellow background and the Indian flower painting typical of Meissen. The trousers have vertical stripes and dotted lines. In his right hand he carries a lantern (handle restored), cone-shaped figure support with applied garlands of flowers, underglaze blue crossed swords mark with star. Partly rubbed, rest., signs of age, slightly damaged, fire crack on the left heel. H 32, 5 cm.
