Historism brooch with fine miniature painting on enamel, reverse marked 'Cascade de Salanche', set in 14K YG fire gilded, needle unprecious metal, ca. 3.7x3.2 cm around 1870, good condition consistent with age, signs of repair and tin solder visible. Beautiful piece of travel jewellery from the 19th century.
