CARVER 19th century, Saint Francis, wood, carved in full relief with hollowed back, internalised figure of the standing saint, presenting his stigmata, h: approx. 48.5 cm. Signs of age and drying cracks, probably originally painted in colour, fingers partially replaced and two missing (one loosely attached), holes from worm damage and mounting on the back.
